DIPLOMA IN SECRETARIAL STUDIES
This is a modular course designed to equip the trainee with knowledge and attitude of an effective secretary. the course comprises of three modules:
module 1- Designed to enable the trainee to acquire competence to perform secretarial functions in an office.
module 2- Designed to enable the trainee acquire competence required to perform the duties of a secretary in a busy office effectively and efficiently
module 3- Is designed to enable the trainee acquire competencies required to perform as a Personal Assistant
Course Duration: 3 years
Course work: Course work marks for a candidate will be submitted to KNEC. students are therefore, advised to take their internal examinations as equally important as the Knec examinations.
Project Work: trainees will undertake a Trade project under the directions of a trade project Tutor. The grades obtained by the candidates in Trade Project will form part of the Course Work Marks.
Industrial Attachment: The candidate will be expected to proceed for industrial attachment as required by knec for successful completion of the course.

Entry Requirements: KSCE mean grade C- or Craft Certificate in Secretarial Studies
Examining Body: Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC)
